Interested in genealogy but have no idea how to get started? Not to worry-Kris Williams can teach you! Two online workshops are currently available to help you get started and several more will be added shortly.
Kris’ workshops are currently held over Skype Conference call, no more than five people can attend each workshop. Due to the small class size, the workshops are very interactive and since they are held online-you can attend from anywhere.

Genealogy 101 with Kris Williams
Level: Beginners
This is a class for those interested in genealogy who would like to get started but have no prior experience. Kris Williams will cover the importance of researching your family’s roots, how to gather the information needed to get started and cover some useful tools genealogists use to organize the information they have gathered.
Each session will end with a Q&A session where attendees may ask questions about the material covered.
Grave Secrets
Level: Beginners
Grave Secrets will cover the important information that can be found in a graveyard about your ancestors…and how to dig it up. From the headstones, cemetery records, documentation and cemetery etiquette you will learn how to navigate your way around a cemetery while becoming familiar with the information they may provide in hopes of filling in some missing pieces to your family puzzle.
This workshop will come to a close with a Q&A session where attendees may ask questions about the material covered.
